Its hard to find small denomination coinage from this time period in high grades. This one is a 10Kr. commemorative with a low mintage. Most commemoratives from the 1700's were not minted in great numbers, be it a low denomination or large denomination coin. Commemoratives are the most interesting area in German coinage. I feel, that if done correctly,..it is easy to get a child interested in history using coins. That is how my grandmother (a history teacher from Germany) got me interested in German history over 45years ago.
