Maybe some google ads would help you out more, a donation to maintain or help out would be fine as well. How about an area that shows how many members are on and maybe a chatbox like coinspace?

I have been thinking about putting some Google ads on, we will see.
To find out who is online go the the main page and scroll to the bottom left and it tells you who is online. It also depends on which forum style appearance you choose(it varies).
If you go to News about the forum click on that and click on New Layouts available for you to choose from. Follow the instructions and you can change the look and style of how the forum looks to you :)
I do have an option of a "shoutbox" and I an make that available.

Why not add the "shout out box"? I mean, just to do simple shout outs.
I mean, I don't know what else to ask for... I changed the layouts a couple of times but it was more of font and color change not much of the actual layout change.
I still like the site and I will keep posting as long as time allows me to.

Sorry Stefanie but I dont see it. Is it the "chat" tab on top of the home page? If it is, it says (You can't access the chat.) Other than that, I don't see a shout out box ;)
It's ok... you don't have to do it because I mentioned it.

I am liking what I am seeing so far...my only suggestion would be to make these working live links....
so you could click on there to return to the subforum or the main forum or whatnot...Not sure if that is possible on this forum style, though!

LOL! Good luck! I wish I could offer some sort of advice, but on all the forums I've run, they either weren't set up that way, or came pre done that way!

You've got an internal server error,as I got that message from Yahoo! come up when I tried to upload photos directly onto the forum.
You'd better get that sorted out as soon as possible.

I was able to upload a banknote photo in the first posting to start a thread,but the system still gives me that stupid error message when I try to upload a coin photo to start a thread.

I suggest that suggestions should be given more frequently. Perhaps if you start a frequent suggester's program more would be forth coming.

The thing I notice, I use Firefox as a browser, for some reason there is a huge blank space on the bottom of the page, and if I click into a new page the same thing. It is something with the site settings. I have not tried viewing it in IE, I avoid IE at all cost.

Nope, its not you. I use Firefox as well.
When I first opened this site I included this forum inside an iframe in the site.
I had to leave long pages for some posts that were very long so therefore in short posts you have a ton of "left over" page :0

Stef, I noticed when you post to a thread, you are reverted to the "Forums" page. Then, you must re-enter the proper category, and if necessary, go to the latest page just to find your post. Isn't there a way that you can direct it to the actual post instead?

It's really great to finally be able to upload photos directly from my 'My Pictures' folders.

This is a fun site. As Aidan said, the gallery you added was a great touch. But what's even better, is the photo images are displayed large enough to see the detailing of the coins and notes. Some galleries have the images posted too small to appreciate the detailing (IMO).

Take a look under 'Postal Orders of the British Commonwealth - Brunei' in the 'Paper Money' forum,& you can see for yourself.
It is a world of difference between night (when I was getting those error messages from Yahoo while trying to upload photos) & day (actually getting a photo uploaded successfully).

The only thing I would like to see you change is the order in which the pages open for a lengthy thread. Currently, we are directed to the oldest page, and it would be nicer if when entering a thread, we were directed to the most recent (unread) posts. I know this can be done because it is the format NGC uses.

I'm having a little trouble finding everything but it's a great site.
I'm sure I'll use it more as time goes by.

When sending someone a personal message, I think the "Save a copy" should be checked automatically. I sometimes forget to check this when I really need to. The copy can always be deleted from my saved messages at a later date.

Chris, in your "Profile" click on "Preferences"
then click "Change Settings" under which you will find that you can click
"Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default"

Test post posting a pic. Have had trouble in past for some reason, so I looked for a test forum and didnt see one. Hope it's okay to do so here.
