Do you know the story behind the design ?

If I can recall it offhand, the obverse is Jason and his argonauts sailing toward the Golden Fleece, which is being guarded by a dragon.  The reverse would symbolize two rivers in France, the Rhine and Siene rivers if I recall correctly.

I have collected U.S coins for many years, and then Civil War Tokens, but am now actively building a collection of Conder Tokens,
the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

I don't know if these qualify as perfect, but I think they are pretty nice. The first is 2 Kopek from SIBERIA dated 1780. Although artificially toned, the colors look beautiful in my opinion. The second is 10 Kopek from SIBERIA dated 1777. Barring the acception of the flan defect, this is one of the highest grade specimens I've found for this area.

This raw token is Middlesex, Romaine DH 1036, a halfpenny Conder Token, a toned proof.
Purchased through DNW in October 2011, this token came from the collection of Dr. Allen Bennett.
