  • I will tell you anything and everything I know Bear.

    What would you like to hear about.........
    Conders, HTT's, CWT's  :D

    btw, Bear how come you never got into tokens :HMMMMM;
    Civil War tokens................now talk about history....it drips of history.
    Hard Times Tokens...........I know we are living in them now, and most of the older tokens
    apply to the times we are having now :)

    Now, Conder tokens............ even though a certain "person" at that "other" board
    says that I can't post them on the US forum anymore. I can't figure out why.
    A large number of them probably 10-15 of the Early Colonials are Conder tokens!

    They have IMO a huge connection to US history

  • Although I never really got into Conder tokens, there are some specific ones I really like, for instance the Coalbrookedale token with the Iron Bridge, and several of the political series, especially those that mention Tom Paine.  The ones I have are more connections to some particular part of history in Britain.

  • Actually, in addition to coins, I have about 30 So Called Dollars, as well as
    40 SO Called Half dollars. I select them for artistic beauty and they must be
    at least MS-65 to MS-69 in grade. They are truly interesting and not that
     expensive. I have tended to prefer silver as the composition of these medals.

  • Just the fact that your selections are based on artistic beatuy makes me want to send you a dozen donuts.
