This 1 Tonne gold medal-coin deserves the nickname 'Super Coinzilla',as seen as the Canadian 100 Kilo gold Maple Leaf medal-coin was the 'Coinzilla'.

This is not the world's largest coin, but the world's largest medal-coin.

A coin circulates,whereas,medal-coins like this cannot circulate for various reasons.

Have a read here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal-coin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal-coin) .
