I don't refer to it as straying..................rather diversifying the collection ;) :)

I have a few more 8R's on the way. There is so much history in those 8Reales.

The Pieces of 8 is where the American Dollar originates from.In fact,they remained in circulation in America right up until 1857.

Spanish-American coins also circulated in Australia & here in New Zealand prior to 1850,due to a shortage of British coins in circulation.
