1848 was the time of Revolution all over Europe. This is the most important commemorative in my German States collection.

I thought you would like it Stefanie. I was very glad when my dealer called me to tell me he found me this one. The mintage on this one is 32K. It will sent into NGC.

Another nice specimen 'regandon'. Some of the coins from Frankfurt are very interesting (among the others). Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Dan. Some of these coins have taken me a few years to find in mint state. This coin is the center piece of my German collection now. Most of my family was living in Germany during this time period.
