Common coin, one of my family birthyears I seek, subject matter and its execution are of interest to me as well.

This one is not in hand yet, a 1759 Guadeloupe Taken Medal, copper 39.8mm, always love obtaining great Britannia pieces.

Nice catch 'Walmann'. I especially like the Hungarian coin with its frosted toning. Thanks for sharing these.

Hungary is one of those little secrets in numismatics, very lovely coins and banknotes.  You don't even have to be Hungarian to appreciate them.

Walmann,
The coins of the Kingdom of Hungary under Regent Admiral Miklos Horthy are an amazing series to collect.

That 2 Pengo is an amazing coin.

The commemorative 5 Pengo coins are not common at all, especially the 1930 & 1938 ones.

Curse you, now you've got me looking further into these issues, so much for being limited to birthyears.

Walmann,

They are certainly more pleasing than the coins of Communist Hungary & the current Republic of Hungary,in my view.

Stefanie,
I can guess that you like making goulash,& giving it to your child (ren).

No-one in my family ever taught me how to cook.I am a very basic home cook who loves to cook lean diced beef with sweet & sour sauce added.I also enjoy cooking up sausages in sweet & sour sauce, even though I am not really meant to have too much fatty meat, considering that my gallbladder was removed in late 2008,thanks to a severe pancreatitis attack in May 2008 that almost killed me,& left me spending a week in hospital.
