Just joined the site. I collect Austrian and German coins from the 17th to the 20th century (1600-1918). I try to buy only PCGS and NGC graded coins.

Have a few German coins. Would be interested in seeing post of any Goetz pattern coins you may have. Some great designs there.

I would like to see some of the coins you have :)

Even after the Thaler (Taler) was replaced with the Mark do to the German coinage reform. German people up untill the 1930's were still calling the 3Mark coin a Thaler. The 3Mark was the same size and weight as the Thaler that was minted during the mid to late 1800's.

Love that almost brush stroke feel of a painted portrait of that Wilhelm and Charlotte obverse.
Have only seen a few other coins that have translated that quality onto metal before. Have to keep my out for that one.
