Title: NEWP: 1714 Charles VI Taler NGC MS-63, Vienna Mint
Post by: Zohar444 on February 02, 2011, 08:38:15 PM
It has been a while since I added a piece to my Habsburg Taler set.

Quality supply has been limited. I have recently shifted my set strategy aiming to attain higher grade pieces for each ruler and as part of this effort will unfortunately part from certain slabbed AU graded NGC Talers (PM me if anyone interested) from the set. In this hobby you can not have it all.

What I really liked about this piece is its beautiful rosy colorful toning to it, strong details and very attractive eye appeal. I had to get it. My photo does not do justice to it.

This is added to my 1717 similar type which I bought a few years back.

Man oh man its a beauty!!!
Simply stunning and well worth the wait.
Your right they are very difficult to find in higher grades, but the beauty of the design really pops.
Congratulations on a killer purchase Zohar WOW:
