  • What most of you are saying???? Has she finally lost her mind?
    Has token collecting finally made her gone mad :o

    Nope!!! Actually a few days ago on December 7th was my birthday but today is my second birthday!
    A more important birthday than my real one.

    It is 9 years today that I was on dialysis and received a phone call that all dialysis patience wish and pray for.
    I received a call that there was a kidney available after a 5 year wait.

    And to make things EVEN better today I received in the mail today a gift from MidLifeCrisis
    This has always been one of my favorite Conder tokens, its common but one that I have always liked very much and never had in a very nice grade.
    AND it was a gift!!!

    I thank you MidLifeCrisis making my day and please post any coin you wish to celebrate my ninth birthday  :3dancingsmiley;

    I will get better images later  :)

  • WOW Stefanie, you are a Lucky one!!! I'm so happy 4 you - this hobby wouldn't be the same without you  :smiley-bounce016:
    And what a nice gesture from MidlIfeCrisis.

    Here is one of my latest 4 you. Die pair 3 (obv) - B (rev). It's a R3 (some say it's very hard to get this variety and that could even be an R5  :o)

  • Birthdays are nice whether they be actual or symbolic. Congrats Stefanie. You're very lucky. I'm glad things seem to be going well for you.. Nice specimen you have, toning and all. Here's a coin that I received recently that was also posted on the 'World Premier' thread. This is a silver Short-Cross Penny from ENGLAND dating from 1016-1035 AD. Anglo-Saxon coinage issued under Viking King: Cnut~The Great.
