DH 292 • Filtering Stone Warehouse, London
« on: October 02, 2009, 06:48:42 AM »
This new arrival from England may grade MS-62 or so.

It looks a lot like many of our roughly hewn U.S. Civil War Tokens,
with planchets and dies receiving similar manufacturing processes.
And NGC has seen a lot of Civil War Tokens.    ;)

I have collected U.S coins for many years, and then Civil War Tokens, but am now actively building a collection of Conder Tokens,
the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

Larry,
That's one cool traders' currency token from London that you have got there.

You do realise that there are discussions about Conders on both http://coinchat.org/forums/index.php & http://www.worldofcoins.eu .

Aidan.
