Common coin, one of my family birthyears I seek, subject matter and its execution are of interest to me as well.

This one is not in hand yet, a 1759 Guadeloupe Taken Medal, copper 39.8mm, always love obtaining great Britannia pieces.

Nice catch 'Walmann'. I especially like the Hungarian coin with its frosted toning. Thanks for sharing these.

Hungary is one of those little secrets in numismatics, very lovely coins and banknotes.  You don't even have to be Hungarian to appreciate them.

Walmann,
The coins of the Kingdom of Hungary under Regent Admiral Miklos Horthy are an amazing series to collect.

That 2 Pengo is an amazing coin.

The commemorative 5 Pengo coins are not common at all, especially the 1930 & 1938 ones.

Aidan.

Curse you, now you've got me looking further into these issues, so much for being limited to birthyears.
