I don't know why, but Bonham's sends me their auction catalogs all the time.  Odd, huh?  I've never purchased from them, or even requested info.  Usually there isn't much in their catalogs that is of interest to me, but there are some nice coins and medals in that  Tsarina collection.   I was hoping that someone here would pick one or both of those medals up so that we would get to see better pictures of them. ;D

Ehhh, sports cars are overrated. ;)

Take a few zeros off of those estimates and I may consider bidding on those myself.

 Yowsas!!   $234,000??  The estimate on lot #1010 was 15-20 grand.  I'd rather think that it was a typo than being undervalued by THAT much.  The other (lot #1011) went for just over $25,000.  That one really was my favorite of the two, having ships on it and all! ;D
