My New Conder Conder
« on: October 30, 2010, 11:28:32 AM »

Here's my second example of James Conder's own tokens.
It arrived on Thursday.

This is Suffolk Ipswich 35.  It has an engrailed edge. It is prooflike, with flaming mint red up against its devices.

My other example is pictured here...

Perhaps I'll change the photos someday since that one shows damp staining, apparently from being above, below, or beside a farthing token for a long time.

I have collected U.S coins for many years, and then Civil War Tokens, but am now actively building a collection of Conder Tokens,
the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

Nice Conder Conder.   Seems kind of dangerous for that lady to be standing up at the top of the cross without a free hand.  I hope she's not blindfolded too!!

I updated the photos on wikipedia...

Perhaps some of your coins, tokens or medals could appear in articles there.  : )

Larry,
In due course,I am going to be uploading photos onto Wikimedia Commons,so that, hopefully, fellow numismatists who contribute to Wikipedia will notice the photos,& link them onto Wikipedia.

I used to be an editor up on Wikipedia, until I was banned, thanks to a gang of idiots trying their utmost to impose their bigoted 'politically correct' agendas & views.

Aidan.

Don't let it eat at you Aidan. Just let it go, show them you better than they are. Name calling will bring in trolls that this forum does not need.
