I'm not a big fan of copper coins. But the strong strike and overall grade is the reason I bought it. It's a commen date in an un-commen grade. The coin grades NGC MS-66 RB

I do like the design very much on the this coin. This coin has starting taken me down the path of wanting to look for more high grade copper coins.

Oh yes, high grade copper is beautiful. But sometimes you can find a rather inexpensive piece $8  Russian that looks pretty nice.

Russia is next on my country to get list. I do like the large Russian copper pieces from the 1700's.

Oh, yes. Can't beat those huge pieces of copper  I posted mine somewhere in the Russian coin thread. 1790 I think. I ran across a beautiful one at the ANA but he wanted double over any recent prices I could find so I passed, but it was a nice higher grade and beautiful but not worth double

Your right. Some of the Russian copper coins from the 1700's are really beautiful. The Siberian 10 Kopek coins (1764-1781) for example are enormous measuring about 47 mm in diameter, and 5 mm thick. Imagine the strain on the pockets <lol>. I have two, one dating 1777, the other 1780.
