  • You know, a coin whose artistic merits you have always admired, in the high grade

you have always wanted and with a toning ,that is both breath taking and probably, the finest

toning on the planet for this particular coin.Would you be willing to pay 2X or 3X or even 4X to own that

masterpiece? Is this the one coin that you would not mind being buried in?

  • Been there, done that.  Last year alone, I bought 5 of the Ex-Sonnier toned Morgans from Legend.

  • Well, I am in negotiations to do just such a thing, with the owner of a spectacular coin

thru a dealer middle man. If the deal goes thru, I will pay the collector what he paid for

the coin a number of years ago. Buried I might be, but I do not care, I do not care, because

    I must own that coin.

  • Nice 1921 Morgan CoinsAreFun!!!   Nicely toned 1921 Morgans are hard to find.

Yes, I too have gone overboard.  I went crazy on this 1954 Washington Quarter and paid way over guide price.
Do I have any regrets on this transaction? NO!
