That's a nice clear pic of the area.  It kind of has a similar look to a lamination that I found on a Merc, that's what made me notice it.  Now that I compare pics though, I'd bet it's a clash.  It lines up with the lines over the sun on the obverse.

Those are beautiful coins (if I haven't already said)!  The Walker is a great design.
