How about a big PICTURE THREAD?
« on: July 29, 2009, 07:13:12 PM »
Let's start a thread to show what great diversity the darkside has!

Post one of your favorite coin designs, or a significant issue.

I'll start.

I have a rather modest collection, but it is tons of fun finding something new and unusual. Here's a French jeton, one of my favorite coins.

I do not know if I did this the correct way. This coin is from my German commemorative collection covering the yrs of 1901 to 1918.

Is this big enough? This a 25 Leke silver proof from Albania 1968. It measures 60 mm in diameter.

I have collected U.S coins for many years, and then Civil War Tokens, but am now actively building a collection of Conder Tokens,
the coins that made the Industrial Revolution a whopping success. : )

Welcome aboard,Larry!

I've got a worn example of one of those.

Yours are amazing.

There's a British Commonwealth traders' currency tokens group on www.coinnetwork.com/groups/ .

You should let the members of the Coinzip forum know about it as well.

Aidan.
