  • Sorry, I have no US coins only German. The 1716 Taler has an outstanding Gold toning and is NGC AU58. Click on the 1716 Taler to see a higher res photo that shows the toning much better.

  • Those are excellent examples of natural toning Don. This is not a forum for US or World coins.
    I want this area to show what natural toning looks like and can be truely appreciated.

    Here is an example of a Russian 50K, while not as dark in hand as the PCGS images look one can see
    the natural unmolested coin surfaces.
