  • Only thread that I had been the originator of that got the poof was on a move in Congress to nationalize the oil refineries. Absolutely had nothing to do with coins, but was in such shock of such considerations I posted in the site I was most active on.

    The poof was well deserved.

Does this qualify for a poofing going into such detail?

  • Because management has become uptight, mentally constipated

and lacking in any sense of humor. It may well be a control fetish,

which goes along  with a sense of inadequacy and insecurity.

  • It seems to me, that one can read only so many threads about

guess the grade or how much is this coin worth or debate toned

vrs untoned for the umpteenth time. A proper Forum needs room to breath,

if we are to see creative discourse that leads to a sense of enlightenment.

When a sterile environment is created, it tends to crush the human spirit as

well as the growth of intellectual vistas. Eventual, what is left is a sullen, stilted

emporium of dust and cobwebs. a number of people become tattle tails, morality police and

perveyers of negative rhetoric. Soon, the light of joy is dimmed and the sense of community

slowly fades away. It is a shame, but it is life in the real world and as such, may become harsh

    at times.

  • Got a slap on the wrist for calling someone a fool on Cointalk.  That was the end of that forum for me.  When fool is a nasty four lettre word, then the forum is too 1950's for me.  And the irony, the moderator agreed that the person was a fool.
