I can't believe I won these two samples for $1.29 each.
If you go by today's market I did very well indeed, with samples that are not so rare, for now commanding very high prices.
I have not seen these come up for auction very often or at all, I really don't remember them going for auction in quite a long time
but I am sure they have been. PCGS has no population reports on any sample so no one knows how many where made. I recently found out the rang in date from 1918 to 1929
All I know is they are another nice example of early sample slabs.

Really cool. Did you say 1918 to 1929 slabs or are you talking
about the coin dates so slabbed :)?
