Belated show report. I have to say I think the collector is finally back! Just as it takes retail investors to support the stock market via fund inflows (which happened in record numbers in January for the first time in several years), it also takes retail sales of collector coins. The last few years have been way too much about bullion for most dealers, feast or famine depending on what walked in though the door lately. And there was certainly bullion buying at the show, and bargain-shopping. But we sold a lot of nice, raw collector coins to numismatists in their preferred series. This included Bust halves, British silver medals, some nice certified Canadian, world crowns, low-mintage world rarities, we were extremely pleased. As I said in another post our year is getting off to a great start and we have seen some amazing trades both here and in other much larger companies. The collector is back!

PS Congratulations Don, Bob, Mike, Dr. Peterson and company for hosting such a great and successful show!

Thanks for the update. It's great to hear that the collectors are starting to come back as they are the backbone of this wonderful hobby.
