Title: New book coming out soon!
Post by: cpm9ball on March 13, 2013, 09:29:02 PM
Roger Burdette, author of the Red Book of Peace Dollars, through extensive research has put together this book, From Mine to Mint, which details all of the Mint operations and technologies of the period associated with producing coins from the mid-1830's to the mid-1930's.

For those of you who enjoy reading about the history of US Mint operations, you may want to check this book out that is soon to be released by Wizard Coin Supply. A CD which covers everything included in the book is also bundled with it, and you can specify whether you prefer an autographed copy or a non-autographed copy at the same price. NOTE: Roger personally autographed the books. It is not some little pasted-in sticker.

Please be aware that this is a "Pre-Order Notification" and those who subscribe will be notified by e-mail as soon as the book becomes available. (Which should be any time!)

Thanks Chris for telling us, this sounds and looks like a great book.
I'm going to get one autographed.

This is a token that I sold a few years back.....should have kept it ;)

Yes, you should have kept that, Stef, and I wouldn't be surprised if Roger didn't have a picture of one in his book.

By the way, if you want Roger to personalize an autographed copy for you, all you have to do is let him know. He lives not far from the Wizard warehouse. In case you weren't aware, his username on the NGC forums is RWB, so you can just send him a PM.
