Title: 1837 1c Feuchtwanger
Post by: coinsarefun on September 03, 2009, 11:03:35 PM
I have waited a very long time for a nice example and tonight I won this auction.
Can't wait to see it in hand.

Anyone want to guess its grade?

A beautiful example, Stef, and I'll guess MS-63 or MS-64.  : )

9-8-09 Note:
Well now I know, but I won't give it away, other than to say
it received the same grade as this Variety 6-I example of mine received from NGC.

A nice and interesting pair, these two tokens.  : )

Those are very nice!

Interestingly,I saw one of these some years ago.

How it turned up over here in New Zealand I'll never know,as my boss ended up selling it.

Aidan.

Aidan...

'You ain't just whistlin' Dixie.'

Yes, it is beautiful, but now it will not make it to NZ.

Stef's token is all wrapped up, now safe and secure, like mine.  :  )

Congratulations, again, coinsarefun.

Larry,
  Why would I want it?

I don't collect American coins, but that doesn't stop me appreciating the design of this coin.

I'm not saying that you wanted it at all.  But you did talk of seeing one in New Zealand.  Get it?

Larry,
  I get it now.

Both ill-health & tiredness really affects me,especially with the change in seasons from Winter to Spring.
