Title: 1892 so called dollar
Post by: regandon on October 25, 2009, 09:59:28 PM
I've been looking at getting one of these for quite some time. Well, I just won it tonight. The auction listing states 200 to 500 known (R-4)

Does anyone know if the R-4 is correct or not ? I realy do not care if 2mil were minted, as I like it. Just want to know if the auction listing was correct.

According to the So-Called Dollar book on page 37, it is indeed an R4 for the aluminum version.

Meaning 201-500 known.
