I really do like this one, though! It has doubling all over the place.

I have some lens that can enhance that doubling effect, in fact can even add it where its not there if need be. ;)
Steph, perhaps you should add a test forum as well they do that across the street as you may know.

It's no big deal, Stef........................the microscope serves my purpose.

For closeups I use the Dinolite and it seams to do a good job

Yes, and it captures the colors well, too! Like all technology, it wasn't around when I bought the stereomicroscope and everything is cheaper now.
