  • .......NGC will grade some Medallic Art Co. (MACO) medals, so these will be going with me to the FUN Show next month to submit them. Because they are 63mm, they will have to be encapsulated in one of their oversized holders. Both the USS Enterprise and Santa Fe silver medals are .999+ pure and weigh 4.5 ozs. each. I have the bronze "twin" for both of them.

By the way, after more than 50 years of service, the USS Enterprise was decommissioned last week.

  • Very cool medal Chris and thanks for the information.

I wish the smaller medals could be slabbed in the black retro.

Sorry if your not a fan but certain coins and tokens would look so cool in them 8)

btw, good to see you back for a visit!

  • Thanks, Stef!

It's funny that you mentioned the Retro holder because I was just talking to someone about them. He just got one a few days ago, and he said they would look nicer if they didn't used the prongs. I think I tend to agree with him.

    Merry Christmas!

  • I agree on the prongs....looks better without but if that is how we have to take it I say let's do it. They really should offer it for tokens and medals.
    It would be sooooo cool!

Merry Christmas to you and yours too.
