Maybe its time to get a few Franklin's Graded too?
« on: July 24, 2011, 02:18:33 AM »
As long as I am sending in the Kennedy I think I will inlcude these too ;)

The 1956 is the Bug's Bunny variety, usually seen in the 1955 Franklin, so this one is a little rarer.
The 1949 looks like full bell lines to me and nice high grade.

Mighty fine, mighty fine indeed! Especially the 1956.

I really like those.   Off the top of your, or anyone's head, which Franklin dates/mints are hardest to find with attractive toning?

That is why you should buy Rick Tamaska's new book on Franklin Halves.

I have answered my own question:    a year or so ago I jotted down some dates on one of the Franklin Threads on CU--   info from some of the Franklin specialists now banned for Conduct Unbecoming a PCGS Forum Member--  just found the index card--     Hard to find:  50-d,49-d,51-d,48-d,52-d,62-d,63-d
Easiest to find: 54 thru 58p, and 58-d
