  • Here are a few "anniversary"  medals that will eventually become albums:

    350th Anniversary of Santa Fe
This is a 2-medal set of 63mm silver & bronze, but I only have the photo of the silver for now.

Well, I do love a nice ship! ;D  That New Hampshire is VERY nice! And that Santa Fe medal is a cool looking medal, too.  Is it concave on the obverse?  I don't think I've seen a 63mm medal before, that's gotta be impressive.  Oh, except for that giant Columbus medal that Stefanie has!

It's good to have a theme going, I haven't been able to find any sort of theme or common ground in my collection as of yet. A Bicentennial medal theme would be cool.  Or a ship theme...or trains. ;D

The Santa Fe medals have a gentle curve upward to the edge on the one side as opposed to the other side where the rim is squared.

I have two friends on the NGC forums - one collects railroad medals and one collects sailing ship medals. Whenever I happen across one or the other, I always e-mail the listing to them.
