The Mercury Dime 1916-1945
« on: January 21, 2011, 08:44:09 PM »
I love Mercury dimes. I think they are ubber beautiful little coins and extremely  affordable.
Some tone strongly and others stay brilliant white. I think some of the full bands coins are overpriced, but you don't have to collect this variety if it doesn't do much for you. Let's see some Mercs.

Here is a 44D that gives a nice example of FBL's

Well that makes 3 Denver's in a row. Anyone have a nice Philly mint to show?

Here is a  Merc I have had for about 25 years in an old NGC 66 fattie slab. The toning just keeps getting stronger.
Again - sorry for the old plastic pics
