Washington/Carver CommeorativeW do not usually buy a NGC coin prefering PCGS grading. However when I saw this + and a * coin as well as the

wonderful toning, I knew I had to own it, no matter what. Now, this is a fairly common commem and normally a

rather crudely made and ugly coin. However , with the high grade and the toning, it has been transformed into a work of art.

As far as I know, this is the most beautiful Wash/ Carver ever graded. There may be higher grades floating aroun, but I do not

believe that any can match this coin in its sheer loveliness.I consider it a true winner.

This coin is in a pleasing grade with a lovely golden tone evenly spread over the obverse and reverse.

Its freedom from distracting marks attracted me to the coin and I was mosrt happy to add it to my

collection.

I'm generally not a fan of Morgan's but I actually do like that 1884-CC. It's also 100 years older than I am, which I find cool. What can I say, the little things make me happy?

That Walking Liberty half is truly spectacular. I can't honestly say I've ever seen one better than that one!
