Bidding on 9 coins in the Heritage Auction....Two new coins added today from DLC

I've never bidded on any heritage coins but have kicked around the idea of it. Now this makes me paranoid to do so. Should I bid with confidence on non-Cac'd coins at HA or just avoid altogether? I'm saving funds for a mid grade early dollar and Heritage seems to get a lot. I just don't want to get burned.

I won the 1905 Barber Half at a moon money bid.  #3688

While it does have a small mark on the cheek, I liked the

overall look so much, I went for the damn thing. I don't think

that Laura particularly liked the coin, but I did, so I bought it.

I just hope, that I am not as stupid as I look in the mirror.

Only one out of nine?  Was bidding strong or did you just not go 110% on your bids?

On the first of my three bids that came up yesterday, I won one and lost two.

My bids on all three were strong and exceeded any bids for like coins in the past.

There just seems to be strong demand for quality and high grade rare coins.

Heritage always seems to have high bidding, at least from the few times I've followed them.  That's part of why I have never purchased from them, prices get out of a reasonable range pretty quickly.
