According to my wife I only belong to her, but like a gnat that annoys I post on the PCGS boards.

I do like the show replies to your post feature, other sites could use this.

Several, and some more that I looked at, forgot about and it didn't bother me either.  I also participate in Russian and Spanish language forums.

I post on the PCGS-CU forum, CoinTalk, FORVM Anceint, and now here. I also post on about a dozen non-numismatic message boards as well, and I have been a message board regular since 2000.

I also have an Omni-Coin page.

Omnicoin.com is a good gallery site.  My only complaint is that the images couldn't be made larger so you can see the detailing of the coins better. This is just my opinion though.

Yeah, I thought that exact thing. Some of the coins are amazing, but you can barely see them!

I do agree about omnicoin. I have to down size the pics so much, that I stoped adding pics to it.

We should all write them. Maybe then they'll allow larger pictures.

Both Banknotebank & Omnicoin have the potential to be very good websites. It is Anton's rubbishy gallery program that he uses is a major problem,as you can't even get new country listings added,or allowing the photos to be uploaded as a combined photo in a single frame like they are on www.zeno.ru (http://www.zeno.ru) .I also don't like the compulsory sections for adding in grades,as a lot of collectors don't know how to do grading. As for the date section,he should allow you to put 'N.D.' for when a banknote or a coin doesn't indicate a date.

You should all email Anton at akdrv@yahoo.com & tell him that he should replace the gallery program itself on both websites with the gallery program from http://www.photopost.com (http://www.photopost.com) .

If he does that, then it will be easy for him to add in new country listings in Onmicoin,& for each country's listings to be divided by issuing entity in Banknotebank.

Anton needs to have rules for uploading photos along similar lines to http://zeno.ru/htm/rules-en.htm (http://zeno.ru/htm/rules-en.htm) .

If Anton does this, then I would be glad to get back into uploading photos, but in a much easier & smoother way.

What do you think?

Aidan.

Daniel,
I was forced by Peter to pull the plug on my membership of http://www.worldofcoins.eu (http://www.worldofcoins.eu) ,as both him & Rob (a3v1) were both posting insults slamming me.

I'm very pleased to be posting here & on Coin Chat,as I am one of the rejects from Coin Talk who needed to seek refuge in a forum with a lively community.

I also post on http://www.coinnetwork.com (http://www.coinnetwork.com) as well.

Hi Stefanie!

This would be my first post on your board - although I'm a occasional lurker.
I'm a member of Slovenian numismatic society forum (NDS)
http://ndsnumizmatika.mojforum.si/ndsnumizmatika.html (http://ndsnumizmatika.mojforum.si/ndsnumizmatika.html)

and I love to lurk (and post sometimes) on PCGS forum. I don't know if your asking the question because of new rules - but would like to know whats your opinion on those. I just love watching your tokens (and other stuff) and I know that you  recently start collectingsome nice British conders. So I would like to know how do you feel about Rule no. 6 on PCGS coin forum? I agree that rules and restrictions are just nessesary on such forums (and we have very strict admin in NDS also - especially of language use) - but I just don't like the tone of the new rules. It's just killing the spirit and me as a European member just don't feel welcome there. Hope you will post there again - othervise I'm only watching your board 4 now on :)

Regards, Rok from Slovenia

David,
Coin Community is run by a pair of sadsacks who can't even run a forum to save themselves. That Bobby even had the gall to threaten to file criminal charges against me accusing me of being a serial spammer knowing full well that American courts don't have jurisdiction over foreign citizens who live in foreign countries.

Welcome aboard,Rok! What do you think of those bimetallic 3 Euro coins that are in circulation in Slovenia?

Aidan.

I look in on most of them and post anywhere people are talking about things that interest me.  This miostly means modern coins tokens and medals.

Aidan.

Thanx, Aidan

about our 3€ bimetallic coins I think they are quite cool. I like them both a lot (2008 and 2009). There are not many (if any) in circulation - I spend some just to mess a bit with some (cute) waitres :))

I had no idea that Slovenia has 3 Euro coins.  I did get a Slovenian 50 eurocent coin in change a few weeks ago in either Vienna or Amsterdam, and a Cypriot Euro coin in change a couple of weeks ago in Frankfurt.  Usually all I see the most of are German, Dutch, Italian and Austrian coins though.

Rok & David,
You can find some cool groups here; http://www.coinnetwork.com/groups/ (http://www.coinnetwork.com/groups/) .

There's even a Scots numismatic group here; http://www.coinnetwork.com/group/scotsnumismatics/ (http://www.coinnetwork.com/group/scotsnumismatics/) .

Yes,there is even a Euro coins group on there.

Aidan.

Yes, you can see them by clicking the thumbnail in my signature.

BTW I am on forum embargo mode.  Not joining new forums, and shedding off of some.  There are some out there that are fairly immature and somewhat even childish and not worth my time.

Yes I am interested in the 3€ coins, maybe you like Ukrainian coins and or banknotes?

David,
If you joined some of the groups on Coin Network, you could see some photos of some of my notes, including the 1935 Bank of Montreal $5 note from Quebec.

I'll be getting some Scots banknotes scanned & photos uploaded today.

Lots! A few months ago I went to join every coin forum I could find and bookmarked about a dozen. I even stared one of my own. I'm also a member of software forums: Drupal, SMF and more. I joined a random, local community based forum from a community far away from here. I joined Cisco and many tech forums because they required that just to ask one technical question.

I do believe I could have set a record if only I kept track!  :D

It would appear, that this is now the only Forum that I

will be participating with. Being here, is as if I can breath

fresh ocean air, after being in the PCGS Box for so long.
