NOW I'M REALLY EXCITED!!

Last month, I spoke of my NGC submission that I delivered at FUN. Four 1964 PF Kennedy Accented Hair varieties and a 1978 National Medal were submitted to NCS for conservation and then on to NGC for grading. One would think it would take quite a while due to the conservation, but when I checked the tracking this morning, I learned that they have now been shipped. I submitted them on Saturday, January 9, they were recorded as received on January 12, and here it is February 9 and they are on their way back to me. That's not too bad in my book!

After conservation, the 1978 National Medal graded PF66 Ultra Cameo! Based on the appearance of this medal in my "before" photo, I never would have dreamed that it would get the UC designation. I'm a happy camper!

Now, here is the worst part. Ordinarily, Registered Mail from NGC only takes 2 days for me to get it, and this is going to be the longest 2 days I've ever had!

Well, I got it from the PO today. Unfortunately, I can't get any decent photos of it. Bummer!
