Nice to see a new design and not a recycled one on the 2010 Britannia. Now available from the Royal Mint. I love this series which is both relatively short and affordable in the silver issues. The above has not been a paid advertisement.

I ordered these long ago. Do they email a confirmation? How long does it take to arrive? Does it arrive by boat and then placed upon a Pony Express delivery person? Are they waiting for the Pony Express horsemen or is in still on the Titanic? Because if that's the case I may not ever receive my silver bullion and it may become yet another shipwreck casualty

You should be receiving your order any day.
Normally the Royal Mint is very quick, however the sales of this Britannia outpaced the initial mintage and the subsequent orders of early December did not get filled by production till mid January.
You should have your order by the end of this month.

Has anyone recieved one of these yet? I'm curious to see what they really look like, the pictures I've seen so far just don't look right to me for some reason. Please post a picture if you have it in-hand. Thanks!

I received my order of the uncirculated strikes, proofs are not yet offered for sale. The finish does not have the same appearance as in the Royal Mint's photo, it finish is similar to that found on the devices of a reverse proof, the fields do not have any mirror/reflective quality. The pace of life at home does not leave me with sufficent time to take photos, the photo below though is the one that I could find on the web that is the best representation of what these look like in hand.
