Just wanted to show you guys a new piece I just added to my German commorative collection. It is a rare Bronze medal 1842 Anhalt. It commemorates 25-year celebration of Duke Leopold Friedrich reign. I have a few more commemoratives on the way.
Whats on the rev of the medal : Sitting Dessavia with palm Tree branch on which city sign supported, surround of symbols for trade, agriculture, learning and art, over that a winged genius blessing the setting Dessavia.
Leopold IV Frederick, Duke of Anhalt (b. Dessau, 1 October 1794 - d. Dessau, 22 May 1871) was a German prince of the House of Ascania, ruler of the duchy of Anhalt-Dessau, and from 1863 the first ruler of the united duchy of Anhalt. The medal is 44mm.
I wonder if he used a hot curling iron to get his hair to do that?

Incredible 'regandon'. Such beautiful detailing and the luster makes it look like it was freshly minted. You captured the image perfectly. Thanks for posting this.
